Tabin Wildlife Reserves offers the ultimate experience for special interest seekers which involves a learning experience for individual travelers or group travelers. Our rainforests offer to all the nature enthusiast, be it bird watching, orchid or frogs hunting, wildlife viewing or pursuing an interest in botany. Tabin is a house of approximately 26 species of unique anurans (frogs & toads) with 12 which are endemics to Borneo, and 1 which is endemic to Sabah. The Saffron-Bellied Frog, White-Lipped Frog, Harlequin Tree Frog, Bornean Horned Frog, 'translucent frog' and Giant River Toad, just to name a few. Tabin Frog Camp aims to provide the golden opportunity unique diversity of anurans in Sabah and Borneo.

Combining 2 nights stay in Tabin Wildlife Resort and 1 night at the mud volcano watch tower. The experience of waiting for wildlife to come and drink water from the mud volcano in the deep of the night, within the amazing diversity of the Borneo rainforest is something that one will probably remember for life.
Enjoy your first and second day birding at the Rainforest Discovery Centre in Sandakan situated not from from the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Expect to see Black & Crimson Pitta, Diard’s Trogon, Bat Hawk, Black & Yellow Broadbill, Little Green Pigeon, Rufous Woodpecker, Violet Cuckoo, Rufouscollared Kingfisher, White-bellied Woodpecker, Jerdon’s Baza, Rhinoceros Hornbill and White-rumped Sharma.
