Day 1
Arrive in Sandakan via MH 2042 at 0740 hrs.  Meet your local guide and transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Meet the wild man of Borneo in this tropical lowland forest which is about 30 minutes drive from the airport.  Proceed to the feeding platform and observe at close range orphaned Orang Utan being rehabilitated under a successful conservation program.  Be amazed by the gentleness and intelligence of this man-like primate. 
Visit the Nature Education Centre to learn more about the Orang Utan and its environment.
Proceed to Sandakan jetty for an estimated two hours boat journey to Sukau Rainforest Lodge built along Sabah’s longest river, Kinabatangan. Here you will have the opportunity to view birds and wildlife in virgin mangrove, wetland and rainforest habitats. Late afternoon take a two hours river cruise using electric motor in search of some of the ten primate species including Proboscis Monkeys as they settle down on treetops along the Kinabatangan River. Return to the lodge for solar heated hot shower, candle-lit dinner and slide show conducted by naturalist guide.

Day 2
Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbills. 6:00am morning rivers cruise up the Kinabatangan River to view more birds and wildlife. Proceed to the Kelenanap ox-bow lake for a short jungle walk (weather-permitting). Experience the wilderness of Borneo.
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Sukau Village for a short tour. In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife.

Day 3
Morning, Depart for 2 hours drive to the town of Lahad Datu for lunch, continue 1 ½ hour journey to Tabin Wildlife Resort. 
In the afternoon, visit the active Lipad mud volcano which provides a mineral salt lick for wildlife. 
After dinner, enjoy a CD/Slide presentation on Tabin’s natural wonders, followed by a night safari to look out for nocturnal wildlife and birds.

Day 4
Join the early morning bird walk to discover some of Tabin’s rich collection of more than 300 species of birds. After breakfast, a drive to the core area for animal’s spotting and for photo session before trekking through the lush green rainforest known for its rich diversity of plants and animal species to visit Lipad Waterfall. 
In the afternoon, try out the Tabin Rainforest Foot Soak made with a natural blend of herbs, to relax tired muscles after long jungle treks.
In the evening, a dusk drive to look out for more nocturnal wildlife & birds coming out to look for food during this time of the day.
After dinner, go for a night walk along the trail nearby the resort in search of sleeping birds, frog and nocturnal wildlife.

Day 5
After breakfast, guest at own leisure before saying good bye to Tabin. (B,L)

Tour Includes : Tours, Transportation,  English speaking guide,  Entrance fee, Meals as stated,  River Cruises,   Accommodation  (2 nights Sukau, 2 nights Tabin)

Tour Excludes : Domestic airfare KOTA KINABALU / SANDAKAN – LAHAD DATU / KOTA KINABALU. Camera fee at Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.

Please Bring : Swimwear, Change of clothes, Binoculars, Insect repellent, leech socks, long sleeve shirts and long pants, short pants, raincoat, sun hat, comfortable trekking shoes (two pairs needed). Torch light, water bottle, personal toiletries, Camera (Optional)
